Your Studio Search Page is where customers will land to find their photos when you're not sending them links from your Subject List. Customers click on their Project cover photo and enter their name. When a match is found, the customer is automagically redirected to your host platform for ordering.
Here's how to set it up in your studio profile:
Your search domain is initially based on your studio name. However, you can use whatever name you’d like. Use something similar to my_studio.search.snapizzi.com. There's no need to enter HTTP://www, but you must keep the .search.snapizzi.com as shown above in order for your URL to work properly. The address is changeable and old versions don't disappear and previously established links will always work.
You can also completely customize your URL by creating a new CNAME record for your domain and pointing it to your Snapizzi Search Page URL.
Your studio logo will appear at the top of the page and you can customize the settings for your search page here. The Studio address field is free-form and supports markup language.
You can access your Studio Search Page quickly from the wrench menu. All you have to do is put a link to "Find Your Photos" on your site using your new Studio Search URL.
Customers have two options to find their photos depending on your Project settings:
LOCATE BY CODE
Photos can always be found using the 9-digit Snapizzi code if given to customer.
Clicking on a gallery cover photo will popup a search box for that Project. Customers can search by Name, ID, or Snapizzi 9-digit code.
Do not include a "Search" header in your CSV if you wish to have customers be able to search by Name, ID, or Snapizzi 9-digit code. If you supply search values in your uploaded CSV file, all other fields are excluded from search. That means customers can only find photos using the defined search value.
If you'd like to require customers to enter a password to view their photos, you must include a column labeled "Password" in your CSV file as well as enabled passwording in the Privacy Settings in step 4 here. You can define the passwords however you wish, but if no values are in the password column, we'll generate the passwords for you.
SETTING YOUR GALLERY COVER PHOTO
After your Project is processed you can select the cover photo displayed on your Studio Search page.
Click "Reset Cover Photo" for your Project.
You have 3 options when setting the Cover Photo:
- Use the placeholder image.
- Upload a new JPEG image.
- Use the image you've set as the Cover Photo in your remote gallery.
Your Snapizzi Search Page will now feature the selected photo as the cover image.
That's it! You're ready for sales!
