Is the Studio Search Page Secure?

My customers are being warned the page isn't secure.

Yes. And no.

Your customer is getting this because they have their browser security set to alert/prevent them from visiting sites that don't have a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate. SSL is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.

Snapizzi does indeed use SSL to protect our user data. It can be confirmed by the "S" in the https:// portion of https://scan.snapizzi.com.

However, the domain for your Studio Search Page is not encrypted. There is no need for it to be. All it does is redirect to Snapizzi—and your connected e-commerce platform—which is secured as stated above. Performing a search doesn't expose any Subject data other than a name when the search result returns more than one subject. Otherwise, the user is taken directly to your connected platform.

Your customer can bypass the warning to continue. But at this point, it is best to probably send them the direct link to their gallery.
