Ensure Seamless Processing and Accurate Indexing for Your Project

Updated yesterday
Step #1: Click on "Photo Management' for your target project.
Step #2: Click on "Add Files" and navigate to your folder of project images. Uploading will begin automatically.
Step #3: The upload counter provides a detailed summary, showing both completed and failed uploads. Any files that fail will be listed directly beneath the counter.

While Snapizzi doesn’t alter EXIF data, it relies on it during image processing. If your editing software changes or adds new EXIF data, ensure that all images (including camera cards) are processed consistently before uploading to Snapizzi. Accurate timestamps are essential, so make sure your camera’s time is set correctly.

It’s critical not to change EXIF data for only part of your images, as this is how Snapizzi differentiates between cameras in multi-camera projects. If EXIF data is inconsistent, Snapizzi might assume the images are from different cameras, causing indexing errors. If EXIF data is stripped and your project indexes by time, switch to filename-based indexing if needed.

For workflows that involve renaming files before uploading, ensure filenames have leading zeros (e.g., 0001-9999) to maintain proper indexing. Snapizzi can rename your image files after processing for you if needed.

Snapizzi automatically checks for EXIF-related issues during upload and flags any failed files. If an upload is canceled, the filename will be marked as "Canceled." Once your project is processed, you’ll receive updates via email and in the Message Center. Keep in mind that any additional uploads will reindex the project and send a new "Project Ready" email. You can turn off email notifications at any time.

Note: No email is sent for uploads containing fewer than 25 photos.
