High-Volume Photography: Move Photo Series – Fix Forgotten Cards & Misplaced Photos

High-Volume Photography Workflow: Transfer Photo Series to Existing Galleries – Ideal for Schools, Sports & Dance Error Corrections

Updated today

The "Move Photo Series" will move photos into an existing subject gallery. This is particularly helpful if a camera card was missed before a subject, causing the photo series to appear within the previous subject gallery. This tool allows you to easily move the photos to the correct gallery when the target subject exists in the database.

If you used a camera card but the card was not read properly — don't use this tool. Use the "Fix Mis-Scan" tool.
Step #1: Click the "Move Photo Series" from the dropdown tool menu in the source gallery.
If you have more than one misplaced subject series in a gallery, start with the last series of images and work your way from the last series to the first. This will create a new gallery for the subject being moved while retaining all the others in the gallery they're in until you finish.Multiple galleries for the same code are normal and show up as a single gallery for customers. Empty galleries can remain if you prefer not to delete them; they’ll be ignored.
Step #2: Click the first and last photos in the series to be moved. Search for the subject code by last name, then hover over the code to confirm subject details. Once confirmed, tick the box for the code and click "Move".
Step #3: That's it! The series is now in the proper gallery.
