Snapizzi accepts image files up to 32MB. But before you start uploading huge files, keep in mind: bigger isn’t always better. For most photography needs—especially for prints up to 8x10 or 11x14—images in the 6–9MB range are more than enough for high-quality results. Oversized files slow things down without improving quality.
You can read more about this in our blog post: High-Volume Photography Workflow: Why Image Size Matters.
Image Size Limits for Integrated Platforms
If you're using Snapizzi alongside other platforms, here are their current file size guidelines:
PhotoDeck: No specific limit publicly listed; check with their support for current guidelines.
PhotoShelter: PhotoShelter does not impose a specific maximum file size limit for image uploads.
ShootProof: Up to 50MB per file. (ShootProof File Types & Sizes)
Zenfolio: For Starter subscribers, the maximum file size is 36MB. For Pro and Advanced subscribers the maximum file size is 64MB. (Zenfolio Upload Guidelines)
Recommendations
Right-size your images: If you’re not printing larger than 11x14, there’s no need to upload massive 20MB+ files.
Speed matters: Large files take longer to upload and process, slowing down your workflow.
Optimize before uploading: Resize and compress while maintaining quality.
If you’re ever unsure, aim for that 6–9MB sweet spot—it’ll keep things efficient and look great in print!
